Early days, I serve my apprenticeship, experience in Manchester, 2 1/4 h.p. Clement Garrard motor-cycle in 1904, a move to Birmingham, I become an engineer-in charge, four years as a foreman, a change to motor-car work, a new appointment, uniflow engine for "Mystery" ,horizontal engine built at the age of 15, a petrol engine of recent build, some of my models, high speed steam engine now at Kelvingrove Museum Glasgow, a semi-portable overtype steam engine, a collection of models, high-speed steam engine, "M.E." Silver Medal winner, some exhibition successes, happy model making hours |
